Two saves in 0-0 draw
Darlow registered two saves and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Brentford.
Analysis: Darlow kept his third clean sheet of the season in his 15th Premier League start of the year. Two of those clean sheets have come in the last two games. In the clean sheets he has kept this year, this is the first time he has had to make more than one save.
Clean sheet against Palace
Darlow recorded no saves and allowed zero goals in Sunday's 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Darlow would see no action in net in the scoreless draw Sunday, with the goalie making no saves as his team earned a clean sheet. This is his first clean sheet in some time, with his last being seven appearances ago. He now has two in 14 appearances this season, facing Brentford on Saturday in their next contest.
Concedes once without save
Darlow had no saves and allowed one goal in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Sunderland.
Analysis: Darlow allowed one goal without making a save in Tuesday's clash against Sunderland, extending his run to seven straight matches without a clean sheet. The goalkeeper is usually kept busy, making 22 saves while conceding 12 goals with just one clean sheet across his last nine appearances. He will look to bounce back in the next Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
Concedes one against City
Darlow registered four saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Manchester City.
Analysis: Darlow did pretty well to mute City on Saturday but couldn't fully stop them, allowing one goal while making four saves. This is now a sixth straight game without a clean sheet, with only one in 12 appearances this season. With the club facing Sunderland on Tuesday, he will hope to change that and earn a second.
Concedes late equalizer
Darlow registered three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Aston Villa. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 69th minute.
Analysis: Darlow made three saves but eventually the Leeds goalkeeper did concede the late equalizer to give up two points. He will continue to face plenty of shots against a Manchester City side which has scored a whopping 56 goals in 27 EPL matches.
Two saves made
Darlow recorded two saves and allowed two goals in Tuesday's 2-2 draw versus Chelsea.
Analysis: Darlow allowed two goals, including a penalty kick, to Chelsea on Tuesday, making two saves in the process. He has split the keeping duties with Lucas Perri, though seems that the team has been reliant on him of late, keeping a clean sheet while conceding eight goals on 14 saves in the last five league games. The keeper will face off with Aston Villa during the next PL match on Feb 21, who have scored seven goals in the last five contests.
Five saves in victory
Darlow had five saves and allowed one goal in Friday's 3-1 victory versus Nottingham Forest.
Analysis: Darlow turned aside five of six Nottingham Forest shots on goal Friday as Leeds United earned a 3-1 home victory. Darlow has started in each of Leeds' last four league fixtures in favor of veteran Lucas Perri, making 12 saves and five clearances over the four-start stretch. Expect Darlow between the sticks Tuesday when Leeds travel to tussle with Chelsea.
Lets in four
Darlow recorded four saves and allowed four goals, but also 0 an own goal in Saturday's 4-0 loss versus Arsenal.
Analysis: Darlow gave up an own goal as part of four conceded against the league leaders, though it could've been more as he did make four saves. The goalkeeper has an important matchup coming up against Nottingham Forest and it should be favorable, as Forest have just 23 goals in 23 matches.
Allows one goal
Darlow registered two saves and allowed one goal in Monday's 1-1 draw against Everton.
Analysis: Darlow earned a third straight start Monday, with he foalie stopping two shots but still allowing a goal. That said, he goes without a clean sheet just a game after he earned one, still his only of the season in seven appearances. It appears the club is still preferring the 35-year-old to Lucas Perri, although that could change.
Two saves in win
Darlow recorded one save and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 win over Fulham.
Analysis: Darlow held on for a second straight win since returning to action after a nearly three-month absence. He has limited opponents to just one goal, with two saves between the two outings and has eight goals against over six appearances on the season. Up next for Leeds is a meeting with Everton on Monday, January 26.
Dealt adductor injury, already fit
Darlow was out of Saturday's 3-2 loss to Manchester City due to an adductor injury, but is back in training and an option moving forward, according to manager Daniel Farke. "Karl missed three team trainings last week and was not able to travel with us, but that seems to be sorted. It was a minor adductor injury, but he's back in training today and should be alright."
Analysis: Darlow was not on the team sheet last match, absent from his normal backup role as he dealt with a minor adductor injury he picked up in training. However, the goalie has already recovered, training Tuesday and appearing to be an option again. This is good news for the club, as he is their first option off the bench in goal, already having played five games this season due to an injury to regular starter Lucas Perri.
Concedes twice in defeat
Darlow had one save and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-0 loss versus Burnley.
Analysis: Darlow made one save from three Burnley shots on target Saturday as Leeds were unable to gain a foothold in their 2-0 loss at Burnley. Across his last three starting appearances the veteran a keeper has made a total of five saves and three clearances while allowing two goals in each appearance. Darlow will look for improved results Friday when Leeds host West Ham United at Elland Road.
Concedes twice in loss
Darlow had one save and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 loss versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Analysis: Darlow allowed two goals while making one save in the loss against Hotspurs. He was unlucky in the match as both goals occurred after defensive deflections that left him out of place. Next, he'll face off against Burnley, a team with five goals in seven games.
Concedes two in Cherries draw
Darlow recorded three saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw against AFC Bournemouth.
Analysis: Darlow put in an undistinguishing performance Saturday. The Cherries fired a total of 12 shots, he made three saves and a clearing punch, conceding two. The first was via a free kick that he could have got to quicker. He is usually on the bench deferring to choice starter, Lucas Perri. Perri has been out with a quadricep injury; the injury has allowed Darlow to make three consecutive starts where he has not delivered any clean sheets and conceded five. It is expected that Darlow will be relegated back to the bench for Leeds next clash at home to Spurs when Perri should be fit to return.
Five saves in win
Darlow registered five saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton.
Analysis: Darlow came up with multiple saves for a second straight game and is up to a total of eight saves, compared to two goals against over two outings. Up next for Leeds is a meeting with Bournemouth on Saturday.
Three saves in loss
Darlow had three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-0 defeat versus Fulham.
Analysis: Darlow recorded three saves in what marked his season debut. The total topped his season high from last year, where he never surpassed two saves in a match. Up next for Leeds United is is a meeting with Wolverhampton on Saturday.
Starts in Carabao Cup
Darlow got the start during Tuesday's Carabao Cup loss to Sheffield Wednesday on penalties.
Analysis: Darlow is firmly behind Lucas Perri in Leeds, though apparently he's ahead of the Illan Meslier, who seemingly has no future with the club. Darlow has shown enough to be a competent backup at times, but he's not likely to be selected in any serious match if Perri is fit.
