Suffers knock
Reed is out for Saturday's match against Liverpool due to a knock in his knee, according to manager Marco Silva, per Jack Kelly of Fullhamish. "[Harrison] will be out after getting a knock in the knee."
Analysis: Reed is hitting the sidelines with a few other teammates for the time being, as the midfielder has been deemed to have suffered a knock in the knee region. Luckily for the club, this is a minor loss, as he has yet to start in any of his six league appearances this season. With the injury only deemed a knock, they will hope he is out for a short time, giving them more depth from the bench once fit again.
Nets equalizer
Reed scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Sunday's 2-2 draw versus Liverpool.
Analysis: Reed scored a heroic equalizer in the dying seconds of Sunday's draw, doing just enough to earn the point. It was his only shot and his only contribution to the match, but it proved to be a huge one. Reed tends to be a more defensive option, and this late goal isn't a likely sign of a major uptick in goalscoring.
Plays in cup
Reed played 90 minutes during Tuesday's 1-0 Carabao Cup win over Cambridge United.
Analysis: Reed has yet to debut in the Premier League, but is fit, and got the full 90 during Tuesday's cup win. It was a good performance by the midfielder, who showed his class against weaker competition. He's unlikely to take on a major role in the first XI, barring injuries elsewhere.
