Eligible after ban
Richarlison is in contention to play again after his suspension in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid.
Analysis: Richarlison will compete with Dominic Solanke and Wednesday's scorer Randal Kolo Muani for starts in the next Premier League fixtures. Before missing the Spurs' last Champions League game of the season, Richarlison notched two goals and one assist over his last four official appearances, and he could remain a decent threat if given meaningful time on the field.
Picks up ban
Richarlison is suspended for Wednesday's second leg against Atletico due to yellow card accumulation, according to UEFA.
Analysis: Richarlison will hit the sidelines for the club's second leg of their knockout contest against Atletico, suspended after a third yellow in the competition. This is a blow for the Spurs since he started in the last two games under new coach Igor Tudor and his absence will therefore force a change in the front line, with Randal Kolo Muani and Dominic Solanke likely getting larger roles against the Colchoneros.
Assists in Tuesday's loss
Richarlison assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 60th minute.
Analysis: Spurs found themselves down 4-0 in the 22nd minute, but Richarlison helped stop the bleed by assisting Pedro Porro in the 26th minute. That goal helped Spurs calm down after a nightmare start to the match, and the team went on to have a fairly normal match after that. The assist was the only chance Richarlison created in the match and he also took two shots before he was subbed off in the 68th minute for Joao Palhinha. With Spurs needing at least three goals in the second leg, Richarlison figures to play an important role.
Scores in Sunday's loss
Richarlison scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Fulham. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 66th minute.
Analysis: Richarlison scored a header in the 66th minute Sunday, just eight minutes after he subbed onto the pitch. It marked his first goal since Dec. 20. It came on his only shot in the match and he also created one chance in his productive bench appearance. Now that he's had two appearances off the bench since returning from his injury, he could return to the starting XI soon in hopes of giving Spurs a much-needed boost on the attack.
22 minutes from bench
Richarlison appeared for 22 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 4-1 loss to Arsenal.
Analysis: Risharlison would return to the team sheet after training this week, with the forward playing a short time from the bench. He would nearly score on his two shots, with a goalline clearance denying him. He should start to work back into some starting time after a month out, notching seven goals this season.
Spotted in team training
Richarlison (hamstring) was spotted in team training Tuesday and could be an option for Sunday's North London Derby against Arsenal, the club posted.
Analysis: Richarlison has missed the last seven games across all competitions with a recurring hamstring issue, but he is trending toward a return after getting through full team training Tuesday, putting him in a strong spot to be available for Sunday's North London Derby against Arsenal. That would be a major lift for Spurs, as the Brazilian striker is a locked-in starter when healthy and brings edge, physicality and directness to the front line. His potential return also gives new coach Igor Tudor another legitimate weapon up top and adds a different dynamic to the attack heading into a marquee matchup.
Could be option for Derby
Richarlison is possibly an option for the North London Derby on Feb. 22, according to manager Thomas Frank. "That could be a dream scenario, and it just could happen. We will know a little bit more when we get closer - but it's in that bracket."
Analysis: Richarlison has been sidelined with a hamstring injury for a few weeks now, and after an absence expected of seven weeks, it appears he could be back sooner. The forward is now hoping to be fit for the North London Derby against Arsenal at the end of February, although he will need to see a boost in health. The hope will likely be that he can train soon, although that will depend on his rehabilitation.
Will miss multiple weeks
Richarlison (hamstring) will miss up to seven weeks, manager Thomas Frank told media during Thursday's press conference. "Richy unfortunately got a hamstring injury which will keep him out for up to seven weeks."
Analysis: Richarlison was forced off the pitch in the Jan. 10 FA Cup loss to Aston Villa, and the Brazilian will now be sidelined until late February or early March at the earliest while rehabbing from this latest setback. Losing the Brazilian striker is a huge blow for a Spurs team that's not particularly deep in attack right now. Randal Kolo Muani is likely to see more minutes upfront, although Dominic Solanke could also be in contention to see more minutes.
Set for further assessment
Richarlison is set for further assessment on what looks to be a hamstring injury, according to manager Thomas Frank. It looks like [a hamstring], but we haven't assessed him yet."
Analysis: Richarlison is yet another forward to suffer an injury for Tottenham, as the Brazilian is set for some testing after he went down with a hamstring injury. Unfortunately for the club, he has been their starter at forward most of the campaign, leaving this as something to watch in the coming days. With Dominic Solanke returning over the weekend, he could see some time right away after the injury to Rocharlison, with Randal Kolo Muani also likely to see more time.
Picks up injury
Richarlison was forced off the field in the 31st minute of Saturday's match against Aston Villa due to an apparent injury.
Analysis: Richarlison was on the field for only around a half an hour Saturday, as the forward would leave the FA Cup match with what appeared to be a strain. The Brazilian is one of their typical starters at forward, leaving this as a bit of a concern. Randal Kolo Muani came onto the field in his place and will likely earn more time if an absence takes place, with Mathys Tel another candidate for more time.
Assists in Sunday's win
Richarlison assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal) and three chances created in Sunday's 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Richarlison set up the lone goal of Sunday's match, a headed pass off a corner which set up Archie Gray's header in the 42nd minute. It was one of a season-high three chances he created in the match, and he also added two shots in his fourth consecutive outing. Richarlison now has 10 goal contributions across 18 Premier League appearances, including three in his last four appearances.
Scores in defeat
Richarlison scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Liverpool. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 101st minute.
Analysis: Richarlison found the back of the net during Saturday's loss, a nice finish but in the end it wasn't enough to salvage a point in a match where his side were shown a pair of red cards. Richarlison has filled in well throughout the first half of the season with Dominic Solanke on the sideline due to a lingering injury. Richarlison should maintain a big role in the attack moving forward.
Quiet in Sunday's loss
Richarlison had two shots (zero on goal) in Sunday's 3-0 defeat versus Nottingham Forest.
Analysis: Richarlison led Spurs with two shots Sunday, but he didn't put either on target. He also failed to create a chance or record a cross, making it easily one of his least effective performances of the season. He put in decent defensive work though as he won five duels, made one clearance and won two tackles. It was an especially disappointing considering his impressive run of form as of late, but inconsistency seems to be the norm for Richarlison.
Scores in Saturday's win
Richarlison scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Brentford.
Analysis: Richarlison found the back of the net Saturday with a strike in the 25th minute assisted by Xavi Simons which opened up the scoring. It marked his third goal in his last five Premier League appearances, and he also scored in the Champions League over that stretch. While Richarlison has not had his best season, he currently appears to be Spurs' best and most consistent option to lead the attack.
Opens the scoring in loss
Richarlison scored a goal while taking two shots (one on goal) and creating a chance during Wednesday's 5-3 loss to PSG.
Analysis: Richarlison opened the scoring with a goal in the 35th minute while finishing with the second most shots and chances created on the team. The goal was the first in the Champions League this season for the forward as he's combined for six shots and two chances created in his last three appearances in the competition.
Scores excellent goal Sunday
Richarlison scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 4-1 loss versus Arsenal.
Analysis: Richarlison scored a brilliant long-range strike Sunday, but it ended up not meaning much in the blowout loss. It marked his second straight game with a goal and he now has five in the Premier League this season. He also created one chance and made three clearances in his full 90 minutes of action.
Scores big goal in Saturday's draw
Richarlison scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Manchester United. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 92nd minute.
Analysis: Richarlison scored a brilliant flicked header in the 91st minute Saturday, a goal which took the 2-1 lead and looked like the match-winning goal. It didn't end up as the winner thanks to Matthijs De Ligt, but it was still a massive moment for him. It was his first start since Sept. 27 and it marked his first goal since Sept. 20. Next up he faces a very difficult matchup Sunday at Arsenal in the North London Derby.
Misses penalty Tuesday
Richarlison had three shots (zero on goal) in Tuesday's 4-0 win against FC Copenhagen.
Analysis: Richarlison subbed onto the pitch in the 72nd minute for Randal Kolo Muani with his side up 4-0 and down to 10 men, but he still was active on the attack. He had a golden opportunity to score with a penalty attempt right before the final whistle, but he hit the bar and the ball barely did not cross the line. After a strong start to the season Richarlison has struggled to find his form, so it's not surprising that he's also seemingly lost his place in the starting XI.
Assists off bench Sunday
Richarlison assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 3-0 win against Everton.
Analysis: Richarlison secured a goal contribution versus his former club Sunday, a headed assist to Pape Sarr in the 89th minute. It marked his second assist of the season and his first goal contribution since Sept. 20. The assist came on his lone chance created and he also put one shot on target. He also made four clearances in his 28 minutes off the bench.
Ineffective in Wednesday's draw
Richarlison generated one shot (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Wednesday's 0-0 draw against Monaco. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 47th minute.
Analysis: Richarlison started up top for Spurs Wednesday but did not take advantage of that opportunity. He only took one shot and it was off target, and he added one chance created on the attack. He was subbed off in the 70th minute for Randal Kolo Muani.
