Makes four saves
Hermansen recorded four saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-0 loss versus Aston Villa.
Analysis: Hermansen made four saves, however did allow two goals to the loss to Aston Villa on Sunday. Since taking over the keeping duties again, he had conceded nine goals in the last seven PL appearances, making 28 saves with three clean sheets in that span. The keeper will face off with Leeds United for the next league game in April 5, who have scored just three goals in the last five contests.
Only allows one
Hermansen recorded five saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Manchester City.
Analysis: Hermansen had a busy day in net Saturday but did well to only allow one goal, also making five saves. However, he was unable to earn another clean sheet after one last outing, with two in his past five appearances. He will have a tough time getting another next time out against Aston Villa, with four this season in 10 appearances.
Five saves in win
Hermansen recorded five saves and secured a clean sheet in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Fulham.
Analysis: Hermansen stopped all five shots he faced Wednesday, bouncing back in a big way after conceding five goals to Liverpool. Hermansen has been excellent in recent weeks and he got right back to his best against Fulham, looking brilliant in net and standing tall throughout. If he can keep this form going he could be one of the best in the Premier League to close out the campaign.
Disappoints in loss
Hermansen registered two saves and allowed five goals in Saturday's 5-2 defeat against Liverpool.
Analysis: Hermansen stopped two of the six shots he faced during Saturday's loss to Liverpool. The goalkeeper also allowed an own goal in a brutally difficult match. The goalkeeper has helped turn around West Ham in recent weeks, but it's still been a disappointing campaign for the most part. This was always going to be a tough match so it shouldn't totally scuttle Hermansen's form.
Keeps clean sheet in draw
Hermansen recorded five saves and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Bournemouth.
Analysis: Hermansen had a great performance Saturday, keeping his goal unbeaten for the second time in three EPL starts in February. He has stopped 12 of his last 13 shots on target against and has been a key factor for his side to avoid defeat over that period. However, he's yet to face the toughest opposition in the league, and next weekend's trip to Liverpool will put his form to the test, as he'll be challenged by talented attackers such as Mohamed Salah and Hugo Ekitike.
Concedes late equalizer
Hermansen recorded two saves and allowed one goal in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
Analysis: Hermansen saw little action, making only two comfortable saves. He was beaten in stoppage time by a superb finish from Benjamin Sesko and benefited from an offside call that ruled out a Casemiro goal around the hour mark. The goalkeeper returned to the starting lineup and earned his second clean sheet in the last game, with those two matches representing the only league shutouts for the Hammers this season. He appears set to keep the role as long as his performances remain steady, with his next league match coming against Bournemouth on Feb. 21.
Keeps clean sheet in victory
Hermansen registered five saves and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Burnley.
Analysis: Hermansen logged a clean sheet in his first league start under coach Nuno Espirito Santo after stepping in for Alphonse Areola in the starting XI. The goalkeeper turned in a solid showing against the Clarets, finishing with five saves, a season high, while locking down his second clean sheet of the Premier League campaign. It remains unclear whether the keeper change is permanent for the Hammers, but Hermansen's performance on Saturday strengthens his case to get the nod again in Tuesday's clash with Manchester United.
Two saves in 3-0 defeat
Hermansen registered two saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Analysis: Hermansen made two saves as West Ham fell to a 3-0 defeat against Spurs. This is the third game out of four this season that he has conceded at least three goals, having kept a clean sheet in the other game.
Keeps clean sheet in victory
Hermansen registered three saves and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Analysis: Hermansen kept a shutout at the City Ground on Sunday, making three saves as Forest put three efforts on target from 11 shots. He handled a Chris Wood header right after halftime and stayed composed under nine Forest corners. The clean sheet against Nottingham was his first of the season after conceding eight goals across the opening two league games. Hermansen will look to build on that performance after the international break when the Hammers host Spurs at home.
Concedes three in loss
Hermansen had two saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-0 defeat versus Sunderland.
Analysis: Hermansen managed two saves but was riddled with quality attempts, resulting in the loss. Additionally, it was his debut match with the club and it will likely take some time for chemistry to build. Up next for West Ham United is a meeting with Chelsea on Friday.
