Option off bench
Lopez (groin) is on the bench for Monday's clash with Manchester United.
Analysis: Lopez is back on the bench Monday despite a minor groin injury. This comes days after it was reported that Lopez is set for a January loan move. The attacker hasn't appeared in the last two months, so it seems that even when fit he won't play a role in the first team.
Dealing with injury, set for loan
Lopez has been dealing with an adductor injury and is set for a loan in January, according to Scott Mason of Molineux News.
Analysis: Lopez has been missing from the past two games with an adductor injury and doesn't appear to have a role with Wolves under Rob Edwards this season. Hyped to be a factor this season, he's a bit too fresh for the Premier League and will need to get minutes elsewhere.
Picks up assist in first start
Lopez assisted once to go with two crosses (one accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 3-1 loss against Leeds United. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 12th minute.
Analysis: Lopez saw his first start in four appearances on the season and made the most of the opportunity by picking up an assist on his squad's only goal of the day. He also set a season high with two chances created and 18 completed passes.
