Analysis: Mane was Wolves' most dangerous outlet late and nearly flipped a bunker-style performance into a hold-up win. Deep into stoppage time, he burst in behind and ripped a shot at Stefan Ortega, who stood tall at the near post to keep it scoreless. Earlier, he wriggled free and drove a low effort that forced another sharp save, while also logging a season high four tackles and two clearances to help Wolves grind out the point.

The goal saw the youngster take a pass which was slightly behind him and at full pace, control the ball and place the shot around Jordan Pickford into the corner.

The goal marked the first career Premier League goal for the 18-yeard old Wolverhampton academy product. In addtion to his goal Saturday, Mane contributed foru tackles (two won) and two clearances ti the team's defesnive effrot across his 86-minute shift. Mane has made three successive starts.

Analysis: Mane made his first Premier League start for Wolves as they went to Anfield in search of their first Premier League win. With the score at 0-0, he forced a strong save from Alisson, who was able to hold onto the ball. In total, he put two of his four shots on target, making it three out of five shots on target in total this season.

Analysis: Mane likely felt he had set up a huge equalizer to give Wolves a point off the league leaders, but ultimately Wolves didn't hold their nerve. Mane could potentially see more playing time on Saturday after creating a goal against Arsenal, and he has a more favorable matchup against Brentford.
